Nature-inspired design - 8-Piece Turkish Bath Towel Set

With COVID-19 variants still causing disruption to many businesses, many top publications have cited the focus on “bringing nature inside” for 2022. This reflects a home desire to enjoy the benefits – colors, textures, layers, images and feelings – of the natural world – and to integrate them within the home.

This movement towards biophilic design – bringing the outdoors into the home with materials, colors, images, textures and even plants, is a key design trend of 2022.

As noted by Philip Ash, Founder of Pro Paint Corner, in The Spruce:

[In] 2022, [we] will see more residential designs sticking to these classics […] Think gray, beige, white, and brown with warm or rich undertones as wall paint colors. Natural earth colors are also trending as people desire for Zen-like feeling at home, so we’ll see more green shades.

Many of Bedsure’s home textiles feature rich earthy tones, including the 8-Piece Turkish Bath Towel Set and the Washed Cotton Duvet Cover Set.

Made with soft-textured 100% cotton, the 8-Piece Turkish Bath Towel Set is available in nature-inspired colors like sandy taupe, clay-like grey and calming aqua blue.

These nature-inspired colors can easily blend with other interior decoration in a master bathroom, guest or children’s bath.

With 8 pieces to the set, including 2 bath towels, 2 hand towels and 4 wash cloths to fill bathroom spaces, the natural colors help to bring the connection with nature – through “color, textures, and patterns” into home, and with it, cozy comfort.

Vintage style / retro - Striped Boho Duvet Cover Set

Like several other high quality home lifestyle publications, House Beautiful has predicted that 2022 will feature “More Vintage Than Ever”.

Several of our home textile products reflect vintage and retro styles to match with the popularity of these styles. This is expected to be especially big in 2022.

According to Bria Hammel, as cited in Good Housekeeping:

In 2022, we are seeing traditional details making a big comeback. With so much change around the world over the past few years, it’s no surprise that more and more people are craving a sense of comfort, timelessness or even a bit of nostalgia in their homes.

The desire for familiarity and nostalgia has been reflected in the rise of the Grandmillennial and Granny Chic style movements, which has been reflected in interior design and fashion.

A return to nostalgia is not the only reason why some people are returning to vintage and retro fashion and interiors. It can also help refresh a tired old space: “A touch of retro is more than enough to spruce up a home”.

One of Bedsure’s vintage style home textiles that reflects the call to connect with traditional home comforts is the Striped Boho Duvet Cover Set.

Available in green or blue, the design of the fabric has a vintage worn-in look that is welcoming and warm.

White slub fabric lines suggest a sense of timelessness and home comfort. It also creates texture, making the duvet cover set spruce up a bedroom as a piece of stylish décor, while also staying true to timeless design aesthetics.

Low eco impact materials - 100% Linen Sheet Set

In 2022, many designers believe we will see a focus on natural, responsibly sourced and sustainable materials. According to Studio RODA Founder Rodrigo Albir:

"Individuals are seeking a more responsible approach to design so that their living spaces “live longer” by incorporating elements that encapsulate their surroundings."

Designers and homemakers alike are creating living spaces that include their surroundings and are made from higher quality, longer lasting materials.

There is an increasing movement towards integrating style, quality and safe, environmentally sustainable materials.

As quoted in Good Housekeeping, Kate Patterson from PF Interior Design, said:

“I think people will realize that developing a personal, lasting style is not only beautiful and unique, but good for the environment as well."

Encapsulating the 2022 trends of nature-inspired design and low eco impact materials, Bedsure’s 100% French Linen Sheet Set ticks several boxes. The sheet set is both stylish and made from more sustainable material.

Linen is a natural fiber made from the flax planet. The fiber cultivation process tends to be water efficient and to use little if any fertilizers or pesticides. Linen fabric is highly durable, long-lasting and can be used all-year-round.

Bedsure’s linen sheet set has all the benefits that come from linen, and is available in blue, beige, gray or white.

Not only is the French linen set a “live-longer” product, it is also beautiful and stylish. The plant-based, natural fiber brings nature inside, while the single hue design can be easily coordinated with other bedroom decor.

To top it off, the Bedsure 100% Linen Sheet Set is Standard 100 by OEKO TEX® certified. This means it satisfies the highest criterion of testing for harmful chemicals and has been found to be harmless for humans.

In these ways, the sheet set provides interior designers, decorators and home makers with a cozy design element that fits with the 2022 nature-inspired design and sustainable materials trends.

Creative, Comfortable & Multi-functional spaces - Quilt Set with Geometric Patchwork (upcoming)

The global pandemic has challenged designers, architects and those who have worked from home to create multi-purposes spaces.

According to Amy Leferink from Interior Impressions, people have become “creative with how their spaces can be multifunctional”, such as by having a “your living room be part office”, “office-workout rooms” or resting spaces.

Using creativity at home can not only create a beautiful, refreshing space, yet also allow for the realization of different goals and aims.

As noted by Dominique Fluker in Insider, creating a “cozy sanctuary” can be done by “integrating comforting yet uplifting décor elements such as soft floor pillows” and a “colorful rug”.

Bedroom elements like duvet covers and quilts can not only provide a place for rest and recovery, yet also create an inspiring vibe in the space.

Bedsure’s Quilt Set with Geometric Patchwork takes the traditional comfort and homeliness of a quilt and adds a modern design twist: clean box stitching on a single hue blue with contemporary blue, green and white tones on the front.

Soft, smooth microfiber provides a comfortable, cozy experience.

The lightweight construction and tight stitching make the quilt sturdy and versatile. It could be easily used on top of a bed, in a meditation/yoga nook or in the office on a cold morning.

Minimalism / Japandi – Washed Cotton Duvet Cover Set (upcoming)

Minimalism has emerged has a healthier alternative to excessive extravagance and indulgence. It has become popular during the pandemic, when many people have been reflecting and re-evaluating their lives and priorities.

“[Prioritizing] the important, functional and high designed pieces”, said Mimi Meacham in HGTV, “is the best way to feel more free and in control at the same.”

Minimalism elevates simplicity, purpose and tranquility – free from distractions, so only the essential elements are presented.

Japandi combines the minimalism of Japanese design with the warmth of Scandinavian design.

This is a Scandinavian-Japanese mix for interior design […] It is very minimalist… It brings a lot of natural elements into a space with [a] muted palette, natural light, plants, and clean simple lines."

Several of Bedsure’s products have a minimalistic design, making them suitable for designers, decorators and homemakers who want a Minimalist or Japandi style at home.

Bedsure’s Washed Cotton Duvet Cover Set will be available in single hue, warming olive green, cooling navy blue and clean white.

One of Bedsure’s new, spring season products, the duvet cover set has been pre-washed and imported from India and Bangladesh, places that are popular cotton producers.

The new set features lightweight and smooth washed cotton with a natural, slightly wrinkled effect. Fine and sturdy lock stitches create clean lines.

Durable and smooth plastic buttons help unite the design and pull it all together. 4 side sides plus 4 corner ties create symmetry and provide functionality, keeping a duvet inside in place.

Luxurious textiles – Lyocell Sheet Set (upcoming)

To balance out the minimalism theme, there is also predicted to be a focus on comfortable, luxurious textiles.

“Cozy fabrics not only feel amazing but look chic and luxurious”, said designer Julia Longchamps in House Beautiful.

Given the increased amount inside at home, it makes sense that designers and homemakers will focus more on bringing nature in and also on making home as comfortable and cozy as possible.

“In addition to warm colors, beautiful textiles will be a staple in adding in color, texture and depth to a space,” said Anna Franklin from the Stone House Collective. "One of our favorite ways to embrace this trend is with natural elements like linen in earth tones.”

In addition to Bedsure’s luxurious, textured Linen Sheet Set, the brand also has a forthcoming Lyocell Sheet Set.

With a thread count of 340, this sheet set has a silky-smooth hand feel without the animal-derived silk worm ingredients. The renewable wood-based Lyocell fiber is made into cellulosic yarn, which makes the plant-based fabric soft, breathable and long-lasting.

Bedsure’s Lyocell Sheet Set also is made with high quality, fine stitching.

Made of shades of popular, earthy green and blue colors, the sheet set is available in navy blue, green or white.

Our new home textile products will be released in the US in 2022. The upcoming Washed Cotton Duvet Cover Set and Quilt Set with Geometric Patchwork are expected to be released in April, and the Lyocell Sheet Set is expected to be launched in July.
